Canh Dua Chua (Pickled Mustard Green Soup)

chicken broth beef rough flank dua chua
nuoc mam pha pork belly shallot
wonton soup base tomato


Instructions

Stir minced shallots until golden in a pot on medium heat
Put in thinly sliced meat (leave beef flanks in large strips) and stir for about 5 min, want it mostly cooked
Add in a little bit of water and simmer for 5-10 min on low
Mix in sliced tomatoes and dua cha
Stir well for a few minutes
Put in 2:1 ratio of chicken broth and water, may also add dua chua liquid of desired
Add wonton soup base
When soup starts to boil, turn to low, cover with lid and let it sit for 20 min
Add nuoc mam pha
Adjust to taste, want it sweet and sour
