Marinate the pork rib tips with salt and pepper |
Add one layer of pork and sear both sides until golden; do not crowd pan, use multiple batches if needed |
Golden minced shallots |
Add water or chicken broth and adjust to medium high heat |
Add sweet potato and simmer until cooked |
If cooking with taro, boil in a separate pot due to shorter cooking time |
Add wonton soup base, adjust to taste |
Add rice paddy herbs (ngo om) in the last few minutes |
Eat with rice or nui |
