| Marinate the pork rib tips with salt and pepper |
| Add one layer of pork and sear both sides until golden; do not crowd pan, use multiple batches if needed |
| Golden minced shallots |
| Add water or broth, scrape bottom of pan to integrate the fond |
| Add sweet potato and simmer until cooked |
| If cooking with taro, boil in a separate pot due to shorter cooking time |
| Add wonton soup base, adjust to taste |
| Add rice paddy herbs (ngo om) in the last few minutes |
| Eat with rice or nui |
