Rub seasonings on 1.5-2 inch prime steak
Roast steak in oven at 250F until steak reads 95F, approximately 15 min
Before steak comes out of oven, heat cast iron pan with some oil under high heat
Add steak, aromatics and butter and sear each side for about 45 sec to create a crust, press steak for even sear
Spoon butter onto steak with other aromatics
Use tongs to sear the edges
Serve right away
