Make sauce using ratio of 2 sugar : 2 tamarind concentrate : 1 nuoc mam; should taste sweet and sour |
Marinate shrimp with salt, pepper, shallots and cornstarch |
Prepare the veggies |
Saute minced shallots and garlic until slightly golden |
Add sauce and simmer until thick |
Add shrimp and stir until mostly cooked |
Stir in cabbage |
Turn off heat and add yellow and green onion |
Cover for few minutes |
