Tom Rang Me (Shrimp in Tamarind Sauce)

Other Meat Veggie Fruit
cornstarch shrimp cabbage
nuoc mam ginger
pepper green onions
salt onion
sugar shallot
tamarind

Make sauce using ratio of 2 sugar : 2 tamarind concentrate : 1 nuoc mam; should taste sweet and sour
Marinate shrimp with salt, pepper, shallots and cornstarch
Prepare the veggies
Saute minced shallots and garlic until slightly golden
Add sauce and simmer until thick
Add shrimp and stir until mostly cooked
Stir in cabbage
Turn off heat and add yellow and green onion
Cover for few minutes
